Chattanooga Tent Responds to Coronavirus

March 12th, 2020

As concern about the spread of coronavirus continues to increase, Chattanooga Tent & Event Solutions is being proactive about prevention tips for staff and customers alike.

As we’re all aware, Coronavirus is a very real public health concern, and we want to assure each of you that we are taking every precaution for the safety of our customers and staff. As public officials continue to monitor the situation, we remain vigilant in our efforts to promote wellness and safety while conducting business, through additional precautionary measures and heightened sanitation efforts.

We continue to look to advice from the CDC for best practices for preventing illness, such as the following essential health tips below:

Clean your hands often.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in a public space, or after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.
  • If soap and water is unavailable, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid close contact.

  • Do what you can to avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Keep distance between yourself and others, particularly if you are at higher risk of falling ill.

Help prevent the spread.

  • If you are sick, help prevent the spread of illness by staying home till you are no longer symptomatic.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes to help protect others. Use a tissue or the crook of your elbow to limit the spread of germs.
  • Immediately clean your hands after you cough or sneeze to avoid spreading germs.
  • Wear a face mask if you are sick.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily– including desks, doorknobs, light switches, handles, countertops, tables, phones, keyboards, toilets, sinks, and faucets.
